    Iam looking for Clown Mantis Shrimp for a nano that I have.

    I bought a peacock mantis from exotics last week. They also had some or other green mantis, but its a spear.

    Only the one I took. But I think they get them in quite regularly. I have always seen them there.

    They are cheap, paid R 280 and mine is bigger than Lanzo's.

    What are you guys feeding your Mantis when you can't get live crabs ?

    Clown Mantis is another name for a peacock mantis.

    i feed mine small Mozambique clams( damn nice to hear him clubber the shell into pieces and it gives him a work out)

    I have a Aqua H20 AF-62 Nano tank that I would like to house the mantis in.

    Firstly I need to get the filtration right and I have no idea when it comes to nanos.

    The tank has a section where water is pumped in and releases via a spray bar. I am assuming some sort of floss/filter needs to be in this section.

    Any suggestions welcomed

    No floss war, maybe just some carbon and purigen and phos remover. Rely on the LR in the tank for fitration and just do reg water changes.
