    HI,
Has anyone with an older model TS4 skimmer changed the needle wheels in the OTP 2000 pumps to pin wheels?
What changes were noticed if any?
    Cheers

Yes I did...performance was better but if you plan on buying 3 new OTP pumps you will be better off getting 2xblaster pumps and blocking the 3rd hole...

You really can not belive the diffs in the blaster pumps

I did, seemed to help a bit, but I think my pumps are knackered as they don't seem to perform like they used to.

Which 2 blaster pumps are you using? I was thinking of getting just on large blaster pump. I am worried the neck of the TS4 is not wide enough

I was just thinking about replacing the needle wheels in the 3 OTP pumps for pin wheels. Did not intend to replace the entire pump, well not if I have too.
Another option would be to replace the older OTP 2000 pump for the OTP 3000 pump.
Would this skimmer body and mainly the outlet pipe handle running 3 OTP 3000 pumps instead of the standard 3 OTP 2000 pumps. Just curious.
    Cheers

Shane - the newer TS4 models, only came with 2 x OTP3000 pumps. So, in my opinion - yes. Your model will handle at least 2 x OTP3000 pumps. I think I would take a chance to say yes - it should be able to "handle" the 3rd OTP3000 as well...

shane its not worth the expense IMO...rather get a more up to date pump. I recon 1x5000 blster pump would be perfect but I doubt the plumbing in place will handle the flow. look at 2x2000l blaster pumps

    Hi Guys,
Are there any of you that still have their owners manuals/setup manuals for the older model TS4 skimmers. I am looking to borrow this manual or leaflet etc in order to photo copy it for my our reference.
    Thanks
    Cheers

You obviously haven't seen the manual from Reef Octopus:pYou wont get much help there. Have you decided what pumps you're going to put on this skimmer?

I like Sims idea, however, check what the pumps would cost vs a new skimmer, eg bubble blaster int.
