Ok, my client gave me an ok to start a thread on his tank, so here goes specs so long

    DT 2000 x 600 x 600 h (rough measurements)
    Sump 1500 x 400 x 470 h
LR is a combination of what I guess is collected locally & Kenia / Fiji mix ( a hell of a lot !)
DT substrate is a mixture of crushed coral & seasand

    Sump is essentially a 2 1/2 chamber setup :
Chamber 1 = Inlet from tank and shallow sand bed
Chamber 2 = Ceramic rings & Large Crushed coral
Chamber 3 = Ceramic Rings, Hair curlers and scouring spunges (hugh ??)

Skimmer = I have no @#$%%^& idea what make ...no pump though..

Will post some pics at a later stage

OOOhhh! Nice size, Frans! I would get that skimmer "upgraded" as soon as possible, though, mate! Perhaps a ReefOctopus Bubble Blaster 5000? or something similar?

My Bubble Magus REALLY rocks! BUT - my pumps are buggered - only 1 pump works, with a needle-wheel impeller....

    Soon - hopefully - it will be upgraded to 2 x Octo OTP-3000 pin-wheels.....

Thanks a mil for offering your assistance again MM, was hoping to do it over the weekend but he is taking a bit of a break with family....no worries though, still have to remove some ceramic rings (already took out 4 x 20 KG salt buckets full) , probably still have some 2 or three to go still !
