Okay tank up and running

    Hi all Reefers

    Connected all plumbing and fill her up the weekend and everything running well. Running no lights and now the wait begin:lol:. Will post some pics from where i started

    nice a cube always wanted one but I like a normal tank more lots of skaping to do with lots of live rock

    Ok now I believe you !

    Charl as you are in the early stages a word of advice on the sump (i had a similar one). Move the left hand pane of glass (at the intake) as far left as possible. Remove the last baffle and move the middle pane as far right as possible.

    The bigger your DSB footprint the better

    Your setup looks very cool though :thumbup:

    Sorry forgot to ask...are there ball valves at intake & return

    Thanks for the reply FransSny. If i do that there will be no space for my skimmer plus i have a kalkwasser i need to fit aswell. here's the sump size

    450 wide * 400 high * 800 length
    dsb size 500 * 450

    Yes there is a ball valve for the wonderful power cuts

    Looks great !!! congrats .... appears your water level is quite high, you must remember to provide for overflow/siphon from DT in case of powerfailure until siphon is broken ... have you tested when power off ?

    Hi yes shrimp i did no prob water level low in return so it will only fill that
