Guy's I have gone and got myself a much bigger tank and it's much bigger than the nano cube 24, about 5* bigger It' dimensions are 1,200 * 600* 600 with a sump just a little bit smaller than that. I have started putting it together today so I can check for leaks, 8 hours later and it has not leaked yet so I am holding thumbs. will post pic's

Awesome Tony! Congrats mate! Sounds fantastic.

Please tell us what your plans are for:
    - lighting
    - skimmer
    - DSB?
    - in-tank water movement (powerheads?)

Sorry for only getting back to you guys now but I was up the west coast.

regards to the lighting i have a 150W MH 10000K and two sets of T8's (looking to upgrade these to T5's asap.
I will upgrade the skimmer within the next month or so but it is a Weipro SA-2011 looks like its doing fine for the moment.
As for water movement I have two boyu wave makers rated for tanks up to 300l.
I am also messing around with a DIY algae scrubber looks really cool hope it works.
I will post pics as soon a s I work out how to do it i have taken photos everyday of the build and its looking good.

As for what I want to put in the tank not to sure yet but it will definitely be a reef tank of sorts.

The sump has three chambers first chamber has the inlet loads of LR and the skimmer second is my DSB dimensions are .400*.400 and about 12cm deep at the moment i will be adding to the sand today to reach the 15 cm mark. The third chamber has my return pump (3000l/h) and my heater.

    How do i post pics?

Hello Tony 2c Your LR will be better looked after in you 3rd chamber. If you put it in the 1st it might get clogged. Not sure if the rest will agree.

Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket Register and then down load at the bottom of your pic copy the IMG and paste it on your new post and magic you will have a pic on your thread.

I would like to put loads more LR in the sump so I was going to fill the first and third with LR or is this not such a good idea?
The tank has been running for almost 24 hours now and touch wood no leaks or any problems the water is also crystal clear is this normal?
