Offshore ticket

Hi guys

I'm interested in getting a class C offshore boat ticket, it for a limit of 15mn, there are just some Qs that I have that maybe someone with the knowledge may be able to answer.

1. I believe that to launch a boat through the port it must be at lease 16' or larger?

2. you also require a VHF radio to contact port control for permission as they don't use the 29mhz ski boat radios?

3. can anyone use the slipway between the royal natal yacht club and the point yacht club?

4. Is there any other option between the Durban ski boat club or the Durban Underwater Club?

not too sure yet, just still getting all my ducks in a row. don't wanna go get a ticket and then have to pay stupidly high bills for launching and stuff. my father has got a fully kitted skivee, with class D reg. for 5mn.
