Hi guys and gals,

I'm off to Houston for the weekend and may be somewhat incommunicado until Monday. If I don't come back alive... j/k I'll be back in a few days. :)

Be missing you all,
Sara

I'm going for a hobby thing/event, and hanging out with a friend.

I'm leaving tomorrow at 11:30am here... or something like that.

Wish we could join - neven been to Houston before :)
The Texans are some of the friendliest people I have ever seen, when you look at something funny in a supermarket the customers stop and explain to you.

Although San Antonia is the hottest place I have ever been:whistling:

Thanks guys... I will try to take some pics.

I think there is some truth to what Kanga says. I have been to Houston twice before (once for a med school interview and once for MACNA 2006). People are pretty friendly. Though, I think the southerners of South Carolina are even more so. There, you just smile at someone and they start talking to you're the best of friends... lol

I'm back! It was a great time! The lecture was fun and informative, I got to meet some cool new people. I even got to take a behind the scenes tour of the Moody Aquarium and see the baby Acropora Palmatas from the SECORE project. What a hoot!

Ah, geez, it sucks... but I didn't take any pictures. Let me ask some of the peeps who were if they'd be willing to share.
