AM make a black silicon that can be used underwater in a working tank.
It takes a long time to go hard, but once it does, it pretty much stays stuck.

I used this to stop one of my OPs from coming loose.
Just dont put the pump back onto the bracket for at least 2 days to allow the silicon to set. You only need a very small amount on the suction cup.

They still pull tight through 12 mm.

Go to you LFS and ask them to demonstrate.

sun sun magnets. I have them on my tank and they really hold. have a bruise to prove it. There have been reports that some get water in and rust but i have not experienced it. I do think that thee Big seio magnets will be a better option for the props as they are huge pumps

Aqua Medic - Idols Marine should have some of their silicon in stock.
I assumed your Ocean Prop units are also AM, as they run with big suction cups?
