Nudi found at Ballito, Reef safe?

    My son dived this one out. Is it reef safe as he really wants me to take it home.

    Orange with black rim marking around foot. Black plumage and greenish dots at sides.

    Very pretty dude but as with most creatures in nature the one's that are pretty are some of the most venomous - since they dont have good defence mechanisms if they feel threatened they will release toxins into the water column to get rid of their attacker - unless you planning to have a nudi only tank I would suggest he go back to his real home

    Ballito do not have corals on its rocks close to the beach. Only different macro algae and grass like plants.
