Where would be the best spot near Amanzimtoti that it would be best to collect NSW?

Winklespruit beach pool (on winkle rocks). The shower there runs 24/7. It comes from a caisson. The water is filtered through the beach sand, it's really clean... You can fill your buckets up at the shower. Quite a few people fill up there...

    The parameters are usually:

    Ca: 350-400
    Mg: 1200-1250
    dKH: 7.2-7.5
    pH: 8.2
    Salinity: 32-35ppt

It's a bit low in Mg, Ca and salinity, but it's clean and these parameters are pretty constant... Even when the rivers are out, it's clean...

The other option is uShaka... Not sure what the water is like from there, but i'm sure it's good...

    Hi Brentch

I been doing some reading on the forum as I have just started up a marine tank, I live in Toti so I want to use NSW, is Winkle Beach pool still advisable as mentioned in your post above, I know its been a few years so just making sure, If not any suggestions around Toti would be appreciated,

    Thank you
