I installed a Durso for the overflow to reduce noise but my return pipe has a large siphon break which runs like a tap

    Any suggestions?

Just curious - why do you have a siphon break there?

Siphon break should be quite small, if it is, and it looks to big, glue a airlin valve in and control the flow like that

My return pipe's siphon break is barely submerged in the main tank where it returns the water.
