Need some advise please, I've just added a brand new Reef Octopus Classic 200-int to my 600l reef and it is making a ton of noise, a loud low frequency hum that I can hear everywhere.
I measured the sound level with dB Meter on my phone and I'm getting 70dB with the skimmer on and 40dB with it off. It is definitely coming from the pump - Aquatrance 3000s.
Just checking if there is something obvious that could be causing it before I take it back?
