Yes should be, just check that when the bubbles burst on top that it does not leave to mush salt spray on your lights. Or maybe remove the lights or canopy for now.

Can you put a T piece in the front, and disperse the bubbles a bit?

    Thanks Riaan

Lets hope the power comes back on - I had to turn the generator off as it's getting late.

I need to get an air stone me thinks!

Bubbles should be fine, you only have a couple of snails and hermits

Hope the power comes back soon

As long as bubbles breaking water surface you should be ok. Also luckily its summer so tank temp should be fine. If you're worried bout temp dropped just throw a blanket over the tank

I would disconnect the heaters, as they will chew power and you would hate to run out have way through the night!

What is the size of the your tank, also how many fish do you have in it?

Perhaps try put the pipe in as low as possible, so the bubbles have as long time to exchange.

tank is 250 lt and have 2 x 102 amp deep cycle batt connected.

should be able to run for at least 12 hours if it was to draw 400W which would be max in winter

To help oxygenate the water you can use 5ml of 40 percent hydrogen peroxide (available from a chemist) per 100 litres of water. It breaks down into oxygen and water. Add this every four hours and mix it into the water to help with oxygenation
