Have not seen it avail in the market. Saw some samples at Liaquat. Like the shape, does not need fluidsation. Definitely a range worth looking at...

    Kinda looks like bread too...

They have the carbon and the two types of po4 media as well? Was at Perky today, did not see it though.

Hey Ivan the Orca products are on the shelf facing the bathwater section but we were reorganizing the shelves today & maybe it wasn't on the shelf while you were there.

I think it looks like feta cheese!!! Lol. As Keenan said David has been using these products in his nano at home which seems to be doing a leka job & we will be using it in our new DT. I'll get David to inform you guys on what he thinks of the product running in his setup.

    Hi Guys .
Yes im using it at home and will wait a month then test paramiters and let you know, but also used there Phossagaurd - realy awsome , and can be recharged 3 times .

There Nitra gaurd is expensive , but a instant nitrate remover and can be recharges up to 250 times.
Those two are the instant removers , whereas the bio cubes are the biolagical way of removing the phosphate and nitrate - as mentioned they dont have to go into a fluidier , but its still recomended , and for optimal effectivness it could go just before the protien skimmer.

The bottle state you should see a difference in two weeks - ive had it in my home tank for 3 weeks now( but will do tests in a month from now ) , and no sign of red slime or diatoma algeas that ive seen when starting of different carbohydrate scourses.

I also used the diamond gaurd carbon for those who do use carbon and its awsome - it cleared my water beutifully and lessend the growth of algea.
Water realy looked pollished just two days after i put it in.

Our new show tank will have Biocubes in a media filter - thats why ivan didnt see it there , only have one large tub left on the shelf , but will recieve more stock tomorrow.

    cheers
    David

yes it is , apperently a professor ( of what i dont know ) is developing it and is mainly for the export.
our supplier buys it in bulk and suppliers a ew shops in C.T.
Our supplier is also a avid reef keeper and has just ordered the glass for his 3.2 meter tank in starfire - R32000.00 !

In the past i didnt like anything "local "
But i supose every product is local - in the country it was made in lol...

Any update yet on this product?

I am using their GFH during startup and the tuffts of Green Hair Algae i had disappeared overnight! Pretty sure rowa or some of the other GFH products would have done the same, but at a much higher cost.
Once Hanna Cpt has woken up and read a packet of instructions on service, return my calls and supply reagent for my photometer, I intend doing some tests on their GFH and PO4 exchange resin.
