I got this snail this last Friday. Got it from a shell collector. When she found this one, she kept it alive for me. It is fragile and I was really concerned that if it will make the trip back to Pretoria. IT DID... Running, make that slidding around on the sand.

Head side got two little horns. Stays on the sand, somtimes up the glass. Hides in the sand. Did not see it yet on any rocks.

    What I found

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Hydatina physis is a common tropical cephalaspidean sea slug that is commonly called a "paper bubble" because of their lightly calcified shells. This slug is a highly specialized predator, feeding only on cirratulid polychaete worms (or hair worm)

    What worm is that?

You going need to find some sort of worm food for this creature as it eats exclusively cirratulinid polychaete worms, but it seems may possibly take other worms.

"It is possible with Hydatina that it eats cirratulid worms because they are relatively easy to catch in the areas in which it lives. If so then perhaps it would eat other types of worms if they were offered. To have any chance of success though, I suspect they would have to be freshly dead, as alive they would probably move to fast for Hydatina."
