Interesting thing I saw last night, my chromis seems to nibble on my Fox face, not actually biting it or hurting the foxylady, but it seems they are cleaning the foxface like a cleaner wrasse , has any one seen something similar ? :confused1:

i dont think its territorial issue as the Foxface just stays in one place so they can do the nibble dance or what ever they do. and then it swims on......

no visible damage to the fins and the foxface is healthy and happy.

    just very weird ???

    taken from another site:

Saltwater Reef Aquariums, Soft & Hard Corals, Saltwater Fish & Inverts For Sale From Maine

'Cardinals & Chromis: Notes From Penny: Blue Green Chromis are the only fish in the Damsel family that I find is truly reef safe. It is never aggressive & is considered to be a cleaner fish (meaning it will pick parasites off other fish). Chromis have cute behaviors like "parking" inside corals when they think it's time to find a sleep spot at night."

Chromis are pigs. They will eat anything that looks inviting.

How many do you have vis?

intresting about those chromis i never knew they would clean like that:)

i assume we are all talking about blue green chromis?

Vis just a point as they are shoaling fish you idealing want a few together, around 5 at a min and 7-10 if you have the space. they are also known to spawn well too :)

I think Lanzo got in some different Chromis and i see Idol marine also has some in this week, might be worth having a look at those sponsors again.

oh and blue green chromis are great in tank spawners, incredible colours when they do spawn too :)
