    hi guys

    thanks for the welcomes.
@Gesiggie - gonna be starting off from scratch, already seem to have made a mistake. bought a tank over the weekend that does not have a sump (only filter box). so will be on the look out for another one.

We do not call that mistakes, we call it a learning curve...:)

Do you have an idea of what you want to keep? What size tank did you get?

    Now where are the pics??;)

Have you thought about your filtration yet?
What type of substrate you will add in your display
The type of lighting is very dependent on what type of corals you will keep. (or plan to keep)

No need to get another tank. Post some pics of what you have and the DIY'ers will help you get the tank set-up properly - sump and everything.

    Hello and welcome Omlette

While rebuilding the stand, drill the tank and fit an overflow. A standard corner box overflow or if want to be fancy a slimline. Just note that the total linear overflow area should be close to the width of the sump.
