my pleasure and please forgive my manners as I didnt welcome you, so a belated warm welcome to masa:)

there are a few things that seem a little strange in the first pic, and maybe i am reading it wrong. The rock in there looks very solid, is it from the garden or is it propper Live Rock from a pet store?

Also there seems to be a massive amount of air comming through that return pipe (is thata return or simple a powerhead? do you have a sump?) plus it looks like you use undergravel filters? thats all going to lead to long term difficulties, but as i say I might be miss reading your pic?

that did indeed work, and if i am not mistaken you have added a moorish idol to your tank? they have a terrible survival rate in capitvity and need really large tanks to survive which are very mature and have well established grazing zones which the idols can feed from.

sorry to sound so negative, but i fear youve started off on the wrong foot slightly, hopefully we can help you to make the tnk an easier long term success :)

yip all correct still learning the rocks are from the sea fresh ones all fish are from rock pools i colected so no money waisted exepct on the tank and lights
i have no sump yet but will start on it next week
tank has one of those 3 chamber goodies in it filled with ceramic balls and the plastic ones and second just with big crushed shells
