    Thankyou all

    Thank you for welcomeing me.

I have a question i bought seachem para gaurd for a white spot problem i have,so i dosed my tank the correct amount but almost instantley my BTA anemone and star fish started to look funny as if they were being hurt.

Any ideas why this would happen?:frown:

    PLEASE

Paragaurd is not marketed as being reef safe. They suggest adding quarter or half dose first to see how inverts react and then slowly upping the dose if the inverts are fine.

When did you dose and how do they look at the moment? If you correct the water (so large waterchange or perhaps even remove effected inverts), they should recover.

For treating whitespot, rather remove the fish and medicate is a quarantine setup.

I agree with @459b Paraguard is not reef safe. You can use a bucket or a quarantine tank.
