Welcome! :D We love pictures! If you have digital pictures of your tank; you can upload under User CP located on the menu bar, then scroll down on the left side to where it says Pictures and Albums. There, you can make an album of photos of your tank and critters.

    Hello Deezo85

Yip, we like pictures. They say a 1000 words.

Do your setup have a sump?
On 3 months you have a lot of fish already. OK mostly smaller species. The green mandarin, is it also eating flakes or whatever you are feeding. They normally are tricky eaters and only survive in big setups with loads of live rock. Basically enough space for small critters like copepods to breed and multiply. Else they just waste away.

Magnificent anemones normally does better under Metal Halides. Bubble tip anemones are OK under T5. And they need good water conditions. Ensure that your power heads are anemone safe. Do not want accidents.

    Enjoy the hobby.

    hi Riaan

thanks for the advice. my tank is quiet small (160l incl sump) sump is at the back of the tank. the green mandarin eats off the live rock and enjoys live brine (i fed once every 2 weeks)

my magnificient anemone seems to like the T5's he moves around once a week (have him for 4 weeks now) my water conditions are:

    Salinity: 1.024–1.025 sg
    Temperature: 25.4 - 26.4
    Ammonia (NH3): 0
    Nitrite (NO2–): 0
    Nitrate (NO3–): 0
    Phosphate (PO4–3): 0.03
    pH: 8.3–8.4
    Alkalinity: 8dkh

as im running an open top i had 1 jumper recently, am covering with sliding glass this coming weekend, do have concerns around water temp as with my temporary cover the tank temp can sometime go upto 27.1.

have started posting picks (once i figure out how to link to my pics proper)

    Definitely enjoying the hobbie: thumbup:
