    Ola all

My name is Dikdaan aka Danie.
I have a 400liter setup, 30Kg LR, 1 massive pin cushion (soon to be more), 2 big leather corals, 1 colt, 20 mushrooms, star polyps, some zoa's. Then on the fish side I have 4 tomato clowns, 1 yellow tip damsel, 1 white spot damsel, lots of hermits and snails, 1 sea urchin and one thing they called a sand shifter, but doubt its the real name...

Hope to enjoy my stay on the forum...:)

welcome to masa danie, great to have u join :)

how long has the tank been running, a while i guess if that leather has grown so much?

what sort of filtration do you have, skimmer, dsb etc ?

a note, if that sand shifter is a fish, its most likley a sleeper goby as they often take mouthfulls of sand, sift through it and eat things that live in the sand.....or else give us a pic and we will ID it for you:
    )

    welcome and happy postings

I have a sump, bout 100 liters, with DSB, LR, return compartment and then a Jebo skimmer. But will put the TS1 skimmer in tom... ill post a pic of the sand sifter thingy, it doesnt look like a fish. Its more a rock like flat thingy with the shape of leaves on the top of it, it has small hair like things on the bottom and it covers itself completely in the sand

You got 4 tomato clowns and you added two clarkii's as well? Are you looking for WWIII?
How long has the tank been running now? Is the live rock fully cured that you added?

Yes the LR came out of a mature tank...The clarkii's will only stay a while until the second tank has cycled etc...They live in peace so far...

For the nennies sake I just hope the tank has matured a bit for something like 6-9 months with stable water parameters and that you have adequate lights and that the flow pumps are covered/nennie safe?

    Tobes see post, 2 x Actinic & 2 x white

Dikdaan, I see you stay in centurion so I have an idea where you bought the stock. Clarkii & Tomato's same tank :nono:, they will kill each other, especially in a smallish system.

WHAT nennie did you get ?

My concern here is where are you going to go with the nennie, is it supposed to be a host for the Clarkii's ? If so how do you plan on moving it over to the "new" tank.

Sorry bud, a few questions are arising at the moment

Ok, saw the tank is running about 8 months or so. The 2 white tubes is not enough for a nennie.

What size is your tank again, DikDaan? You can perhaps think of going 6 x 80 watt T5's perhaps....
ATI makes a really FANTASTIC unit - and ATI globes are believably quite decent quality!

Investigate these..... this would/should be more than ample to keep the anemone's happy!
