hi all

i have finally managed to get pics of my setup, so any advice is welcome.
i am not to sure about my sumps setup at the moment.

1.first pic is the top up tank and the sumps fourth chamber(return)
2.second and third pic is of the 1st, 2nd and third chambers in the sump.
3.fourth pic is the overall.
i have removed the bio balls but i just dont have a dsb.
which chamber would i setup the dsb in my sump and what lighting should i put over the sump(space limited in working erea)

the filter floss i remove every second week.
the bio balls i have removed from the sump but i would just like to know where i need to place the dsb

Hi Wayne, I'm not sure if I am seeing your sump correctly but here's how I would set it up, in the 1st chamber will be your skimmer, 2nd will be floss and/or some live rock, 3rd will be DSB and 4th will be return pump.

What are the blue things ? What do you use them for ?

Has this tank been going since 2001 ? :whistling:

thanks viper i have managed to rearrange my sump and have got it setup as you have suggested.
that sump i bought as is from sam's "where everyday is fun and games" :)
haha no warr i removed those bio balls a while ago, as for the date on the pics thats just cause its an old camera it seems to keep resetting to that date:lol:
 
Good stuff, now that you are setup nicely you need to try and get some more live rock in your display tank. What is the size of your tank?
