Try to decide whether you want a Reef tank or Fish only. Do some research as it will give you some ideas and guidance before you decide. Many people do prefer the reef tank as it is a bit more challenging and a lot more colorful. It also depends entirely to the individuals pocket and commitment because Both methods differs when it comes to filtration, light and flow.

You’ll need a big skimmer for a tank that size.
Good lighting and a good filtration system.
    And alot of live rock

    ...roughly 1kg per 10Lt..the more the better... (3.785Lt = 1Gallon)
...depends on the depth of you'r sand in the Display Tank...also you'r Fish selection will influence you'r depth...burrowing fish require a deeper sandbed...
...personal preferance...some say 2...so that you have a "back up" if one should give in... and others say that they prefer one as they feel the second one doesn't justify the "money" so much as it doesn't work so hard as the first one...

Hope this helps, but I'm sure you'll get some more feedback soon...:)
