Hi callie what you can do is use the first 60% of water and not the rest and add your live rock as it is already cycled and stabality ,pls double the dose for the first 4 days and there after on a 1,5mt tank use 6caps every day for 1 week and use prime from seachem as well for 3 days ,and you should be ok,also pls correct your ph and kh and cal before adding live stock

Hi Callie - sorry man. 1st time I saw your thread. And yes. You should/would have a cycle - BUT, a shortened one. The cycle time would be much shorter.

IMarine gave you great advice. So - if you dose bacteria for the 1st while, the extra bacteria should help in shortening the cycle a wee bit....

BUT, you will still go through a cycle period, though!

A short cycle would be best maybe a month or so would be enough...

Busy testing everything with fresh water. Close loop system is working real good. No leaks till now.

Cool Callie - just one word of warning though - those AquaH2O tanks seems to be cracking and bursting at the bended/rounded edges. Quite a few have burst in the past few months, of fellow reefers.

Perhaps also investigate something that would secure and strengthen the rounded corners of the tank.

Good luck with the aquascaping and saltwater filling! Keep us up to date!

Tank was build by myself. Used 10mm bracing at top ad bottom of tank. Should be fine.

Looking good, are you doing any corals ?

Anthias don't do well as single fish, you need a couple more
