Hi, I need help. I want to move from my 35l tank, to a new 100 litre tank. How will I go about doing that?

Hi, what have you got in your current tank? Fish, corals, rocks, substrate?

    35 litre to 100litre.

buy 75L extra new tank water. Ensure temp and PH is the same, move everything over in one go.
Hour later, have a beer. Jobs done

I have 2 clown fish, blue stripe pipe fish, 2 hermit crabs, and a turbo snail, with live rock. I'm going to use new substrate

well, then fill up new system completely, acclimatize your fish, corals and even the liverock. But that means 100litre new salt water.

it is the rock that cycle, not the water.
your filtration will catch up, you do not have a lot of fish. Just do not add any new fish for 4 weeks.

If tank temperature, salinity and PH are the same, then you can move the liverock. Fish and corals should be acclimatise.

Won't they die because of new substrate and water, and an ekstra new 1kg of live rock?

Just in case, buy a bottle of Seachem Stability and use it as per the instructions on the bottle in the new tank, I swear by the stuff and always recommend it as I have used it successfully a few times to settle/establish new tanks when moving them around or starting them up.
