    Hi Masa

I need to make an new stand for my tank . But also while I'm at it change up the filtration as well .
The Idea is to make an better Higher and sturdier stand with extra space for an larger DSB
Stand is 1000mm (H)(main frame wil be 32mm not sure if I could use 25x25mm)
rest of the dimensions are for an standard 4ft tank .
My only worry is that the DSB would not be deep enough @ 150-200mm

Any advice will be extremely helpfull thankyou in advance

For DSB 150mm is the recommended minimum depth. As the frame it looks good, I just think the two back braces will be a bit overkill in my opinion.

Would the green tank be the DSB? I assume the front panel is not all the way to the top.

Hi Riaan yes that is correct and it is all the way to the top like an box/closed sump with doors to keep the salt away fro the frame.
Also thinking of adding 2 compartments one for sand and the other for Algae

So you would still be able to get into there to be able to siphon the sand clean when needed.

Due to the weight of a DSB, plus being midway between sump and tank, I would not go for less than 32mm square tube.

There wont be a lot of space but at least 200mm I didn't tale the weight of the sand into account maybe I should leave the sand bed in the main sump and just do an algae farm ? The whole Idea is to incorporate an quarantine section

Should be separate system, preferably far away as possible.

I agree but I have no other space and this tank would be able to drain to waste and be shut off from the main system.
