    Hi guys,

Anyone had this appearing in their tanks before ?

I introduced some local snails into my tank approx 1 week ago. Over the last few days I have seen these white spots appear on the back wall , glass , LR and on the back of some of the local snails. They appear to grow in numbers, by the day.

They appear to have a hard outer casing/shell. I pried one off the glass last night with great difficulty. They feel hard with a squishy centre

Very difficult to see what they are, even with a magnifying glass.

    Good or bad ?

Yeah, have loads of these eggs.

Unfortunately they don't hatch, apparently need to be in similar conditions to an intertidal area for them to mature

Yeah , I think you're right about that dallas.

In any way , I don't particularly want to encourage the hatching of these snails.

On the other hand, it may be an interesting challenge to see if they can be hatched :p

Correct JR, I am going put some of these snails in my overflow box and see if this gets some of the eggs to hatch

so it shute work if we move the rock with eggs just out of the water still under the lights and maybe to a place were there is some water splashing onto it.
