Ok now i want to get some suggestions of the kind of fish that i would most likely be able to keep in the Red Sea 130 tank. We are looking at making this tank with only the essential live rock and have a caribsea Hawain black substrate as base. We not planning on keeping any corals or anemone, what would you suggest would be great tank mates as we would like quite colourfull fish. Maybe some names would be good and i would go google the photo's? Thanks in advance:whistling:

if its fish only then you can keep anything, but with that size tangs and large angels would be a no

but depending on your tastes a predator tank with a lion fish etc would be cool

Here are some nice "smaller" fish...

    http://www.aquacon.com/blennies_saltwaterfish.html

Here is a good list of Fishy's...

Which also had "Nano" Section...to narrow it down a bit more...

These should steer you in the right direction....also remember to check if they are compatable...

...true..!!..:p But I actually wouldn't really know what those fishy's are as DURBAN gets all the left overs anyway..:p I wouldn't be the ideal person to ask what fish you get in SA as Durban doesn't even get them...!!!:p

A tank that size would be better off as a reef IMO
A predator tank, you limited to what you can keep (most get big) unless you look at frogfish, etc. but they are also boring and not very active
Then you get amazing Tangs, Angels, Flies, etc. but they are all too big for that size tank
