    Sump: 1000mm (L) x 300mm (H) x 300mm (W) bit small for now but looking into building a bigger one later.

    300w jager heater
Haleia 5000L return pump (choked a bit)
    6000L/H power head
    Reeftek TS2 skimmer
Running DSB and some Seachem matrix for filtration.
    Corner overflow
    Wooden hood
    4xT5 lights (2xWhite 2xblue)

    Live stock:
Grouper i caught in durbs about 3years ago.
He was kept in my brothers sump for a while when he was still very small. (25mm)
Then at a lfs then my brother collected him again and kept him in his fuge for a while till i started my setup.

Now his got a good home.

I've got a predator tank and I think quite a few of the masa members have to or tried, but it's nothing like a full on reef tank, it's very dull. Just my 2 cents

I think otherwise. I recenlty started getting preds for my tank. They are in my 4ft while the new tank is getting ready. I think it comes down to what you add into the tank. I have corals, andI have some reef fish such as blue green chromis, a pair of false clowns which host in a magnificent anenome. I will be adding more non predatory fish once the bigger setup is complete. I havent had any issues so far. It also depends on the preds you put in. I am going for smaller predator fish, and then just add fish that they cannot fit into their mouths. You can see the preds I have in the below thread. Theres lots more to come. Will post a pic of the other fish togethher in the tank later. On a natural reef there are both non predatory fish and predators, so I want that in my tank. It is possible and comes down to choice of fish.
