Hi All
I am new to the forum and to marine tanks. I have 2 collegues who own tanks and have been bitten with the bug. I have been pointed to the AquaH2O Amazon 60 tank setup (I want a small setup as I dont have much space) Anyone have any experience/resevations with this tank (my colleague bought the Boyu TL550 and he is happy with it, so I have a choice and am in 2 minds) Some suggestions / pros / cons of the 2 systems would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

You came to the right place!
you will totally enjoy this hobby.
I don't really know those tanks, some guys like matt/henkhugo will help you out on the nano tanks.

Welcome to MASA!
how may litres is this tank?

welcome Mark :D

Hi Mark, welcome to MASA. The general rule with marine systems is the bigger the better as the water conditions tend to be stable the bigger the system.

Thanks

Thanks All.
Both these tanks are about 140 liters. I only have space for a small system.

A very warm welcome to MASA, Mark! Seems like us Cape Town reefers are growing in leaps and bounds!!! I don't own a nano, but please take the following into account w.r.t a nano:
1) it requires a LOT (often) of water changes to keep stable/happy
2) it is easier/cheaper to light
3) you cannot keep many fish in a nano
4) can keep quite a few corals in a nano
5) you need to be EXTREMELY dilligent with a nano - the smallest problem could escalate and quickly become a HUGE problem

Welcome to MASA Mark, happy posting and happy learning :)
