My Nano pretty much came with all the neccessary equipment. I added a bag of charcoal to the filter and also a thermometer. Other than that iv'e been vey lucky regarding statistics about my choice of fish and the way i handle my tank. My hands go in the tank ( yes i make sure they are clean) because i hand feed most of my coral and anemone and my cleaner shrimp loves taking food from my hand ... lol
I also do a 1/4 water change every 2 weeks

My tank houses the following : 1 False Clown
    1 Three striped Damsel
    1 Devil Damsel
    1 Lion Fish
    1 Long nose Hawk Fish
    1 Mandarin Goby
    1 Sun Coral
    1 Cerianthus
    1 Radianthus
    2 tube worms
    1 Torch Coral
    Mushrooms ( +- 30 on a rock )
    2 Hermit Crabs
    2 snails ( cleaners )
    1 Serpent Star Fish

My Clown FINALLY moved inn to my Radianthus about two weeks ago ...

For some reason my Lion Fish ONLY eats Brine shrimp and NO Stint.

....... I hope that covers it all ... he he he

You have a lionfish in a Nano :p

Becareful he may eat your other livestock especially if you haven't weaned him off live food.
