A VERY WARM WELCOME to MASA, Leon Adolph! Great to have you on-board!
Keeping marines is an AWESOME hobby. It's really addictive, and life changing - you get to learn a HUGE amount of the sea, it's creatures, and nature! Also - you get to learn of physics, water flow, lighting, biological filtration, water dynamics, water chemistry, fish physiology, etc...
Please take note of the following:
1) It takes a HUGE amount of patience to keep marines succesfully
2) you should NEVER just believe the advice your local pet shop/fish shop gives you - please come and double chekc EVERYTHING you are told, with us. We do not have any financial gain in the advice we give you. Also - we just want the life stock you keep, to have the BEST chance at surviving! We also want you to become the ABSOLUTE BEST reefkeeper that you can be!
3) You HAVE to read, read, READ, READ and read some more - even BEFORE you purchase your 1st fish, clean up crew, or coral!
4) Please enjoy the journey! It's a REALLY awesome one at that!
Enjoy! And Good luck!
BTW: if you want to know about tanks - please read as many of the other "New members" threads as possible, as well as read through as many of the "Members tanks and setups" that you CAN - please try and identify a tank that you want to duplicate. And then allow us to guide you in achieving this goal!
