    Hi all.

Pet Stop received new LED T8 lights today!!!!!!!!!! They are VERY bright and needs no ballast or starter gear. At this stage only blue and white is available, but we are looking to get some pink, red and green also.

Here you can compare the whit LED light in the centre to a normal white T8 tube on the right. note that it does not have the yellow color of the normal T8 tube. on the left is the blue LED tube. More intense blue than even a T% coral blue.

The LED tubes has built in reflectors so no light is "lost". Currently we have 3 ft and 4 ft lights in stock.

Another nice LED unit available at Pet Stop ranges from 45cm units up to 1.5m units. We have a 90 cm unit fitted on one of the tropical aquariums and it makes a HUGE difference in the aquarium.

It is nice and slim and very light, a must see!!!!!!

The aquarium in the top centre has the LED unit fitted. A clear improvement when compared to the aquariums around it!

Come have a look at the LED T8 light tubes, we are the only petshop to stock this!!!!!!!!!

    See you soon

The 3 ft LED tubes start at around R850 and the 4 FT tubes are R1050 each. The flat LED units start at R1090 each.

Can you post an extra pic or 2 of the Flat LED unit...? I see they start at 45cm...so it's safe to assume the next size is 60cm..?

    Hi Moolis,
I am also interested in the flat units. The tank I want to put them on is 550mm X 450mm X 600mm. I dont want to suspend them from the roof. I see the flat units can be put directly onto the tank.
Could you give me the size and prices of the smaller units please..... And maybe some photos!

    The LED light tubes.

These are LED units built into a standard T8 tube.

They are limited at present to:
40w 4 foot tubes replacement - that use only 18Watt
30w 3 foot tubes replacement - that use only 13watt

We have a pure white and a blue available.
    Pure White
    40Watt @ R1050
    30watt @ R850

    Blue
    40watt @ R1050
    30watt @ R850

Remember only available at PET STOP - 012-329 8965 (Shawn)

Any luck in the future in sourcing 2ft replacements? The 3ft would be too big for my 600x600x600 cube.

    Moolis!
The above unit is what I'm looking for, you mention they come in units FROM 45cm. I do not want the strip LED units.
What would the unit as picture above price? At a size that would fit a 550mm X 450mm X 450mm. How many Blue and White LED's would be in such a unit?

Moolis, what is the width of these lights. Reason I am asking is cause I have been looking at LED replacement for my MH and T5'S for some time now, and have to take quite a few to be able to get the tank covered.
Basically, if I have to fill the tank length, I need to place 6 in a row (if I use the 450mm), but still need to cover the width
