Yip, i think a couple of nice close up + full tank pics would be nice.
Could you also give us a little rundown of your tank & what your plans are?

    Hi Guys,

Thank you for the welcome, here are a few close-ups, I must say the Iphone 5 makes it look like proffessional photography lol.

I have t2 x Tonga branch rocks which I have built up both the left and right hand sides of the tank...

Set me back R900 buckaroos..., but in this hobby who's counting lol.

:welcometomasa2: in the last pic it is a Aptasia, you don't want it in your tank. Get rid of it.

Damn, look at the size of that thing :)

    Welcome to the forum!

Go to dischem, buy a 1ml syringe with the thinnest needle they have, and inject the bugger a cople of times with some white spirit vinegar (you'll have to be quick, they retract very quickly).

Watch it dissolve into snot never to reappear.

1ml per 100L So be careful not to over do it.

That sounds like what I use to do as a kid, hunt for snails in the garden and sprinkle salt on them, hehehe :)

do not go out and buy biological control for that one aiptasia. What would it eat after that one is gone?

Rather use Aiptasia-X or even vinegar. Inject vinegar slowly. Read up on it.

I agree with @RiaanP .Looks like you only have one or two . I bought a bottle of aiptasiaX a while ago, will last me untill it expires and works like a charm. Lemon juice can also do the trick when injected. It will drop your ph so make sure not to treat a lot of aiptasia at a time, only a little lemon juice wil do the trick.
