The tank in the picture was an eye saw for the owner. The inhabitants were a lovely Lion fish, Twin spot wrasse, Brown bird, Maroon clown, Two blue cheek gobies and some mean star fish. This is what the tank looked like at 10h00 this morning.

So we removed this lovely feller along with his buddies and sent them on vacation to Box Town in Polystyrene Villa.

Most is fiberglass. You may have seen pictures in oversees magazines from companies like living colour etc. Well a company in Brits manufactures these artificial reefs and exports them to the US. As you can imagine they are very expensive.

This particular structure was removed from a tank about 3 years ago an lay around in my garage. So i thought it would revive this tank a little.

Absolutely amazing transformation - just goes to show if a little time given to the tank you can really do a remarkable turnaround! Great Job Nemos - now teach the owner to look after it like this before the members of MASA come looking for him - even if he got fake stuff in the tank!

Nice job. He's still going to have to sort out the nutrient issues though or he'll just get algae growing over all the new stuff.

The before pic looks like the tanks at "La Mer" counters at Edgars etc.
