Welcome! Seems all good but why are you getting your tank made with starphire glass? Its only worth getting when you are going to use glass more than 12mm thick

welcome flyboy, great to have you join masa:)

its great to hear you are starting out and researching a little before spending hard earned money, its time and effort well spend.

i am not familiar with the equipment (as in the brand) you are refering too so i wont give advice on that, perhaps you are getting a good package deal and that will be the reason for the brands you are looking at. But just note there are a number of godo brands of skimmers, internal flow and heaters in particular that you could look at, some reseach into these pieces of equipment might be worth while.

On your dimesnsions though 900x450x450 is a fairly long shallow and narrow tank and i think if you have the space you would be better off with a tank thats around 900x650 (water depth)x700-800 width. If you can fit a wider tank in its def advisable, while a shallow tank can be interesting for certain aspects, if often better to have the depth of around 650 due to increased water vollume, and variations in light intensity so coral placement can be more accurately done.
