As I have a long way to go with the cycling this question is just for interest but after someone purchased a fish how long are you prepared to keep it till collection?

Hi Louis , we will keep a fish for a week for you , but rather let a customer wanting the fish on the day take it - arrangements can be made to keep longer for quarantining purposes...

But if you bought mature live rock , depending on the fish in question - shouldnt take too long with the products available now days.

P.M me if you want to know more about a fish - if there is one your interested in.

    Thanks
    David.

louise dont rush fish into your tank. you are in this hobby for YEARS so waiting for things to stabalise, cycles to finish, algaes to come and go etc etc is such a small amount of time in relation to the life of a tank.

sit out the cycles, plan your stocking and what you want to keep and go back to Perky's when you and the tank are ready. They will have more of the same later:)

Hi , its pretty much up to personal taste - we've sold bags of black from people seeing this in real life...

I like the fact that you cant see the diatoma algea and that it doesn't show dirt , but it dulls the apperence of bright lights.

    Hi David

Thanks for the reply. I only started cycling this week so have a long way to go... Sigh. I do plan on being very patient although I have added microbe-lift special blend. The question was more for interest for closer to the time. If I a close to the end ( few days) I don't want to lose out on an entire lot just due to too much patience :p.

I am still deciding on what I want for the tank at the end but know I want two clown fish as soon as thier home is ready.

I bought some stuff from you earlier in the week (thanks for the great discounts!!) so will definitely be in again soon just to admire...

    Thank Louise
