    Hey All

Im new here on the thread and thought id say hi.
I came over from TASA for those of you that might know me.

Here's what my Freshwater tank looked like:
Ryan J's Amano Style Tank - Page 7

So yes, im interested in a new hobby thats more challenging. I have been warned that Marine tanks are a whole other ball game. Expensive equipment, lots of testing and maintenance. But after registering, and looking at some of your tanks, I got that excited, fishy feeling, and I know I was on the right spot. So yeah, im up for the challenge.

I have 5 years experience with Freshwater fish and plants. So im hoping to learn as much as I can about Marine Tanks.

Feel free to message me, send me links, or get me started on what to buy first so I dont waste money. Im very eager to learn.

    Cheers - Keep it wet!

    Welcome to the dark side....

Marines are a lot more fun, frustration, joy, expensive, worthwhile, and involved than freshwater.

    Welcome

The forum sections have lots of information to get you going. Read as much as possible and then start a thread on the tank you intend to start and let fly with the questions. There are lots of experienced guys here who can help and guide you.

    Welcome to the "souties" club...
A good place to start reading is to have a look at the members tank forum.
They are divided between pico, nano, medium & large tanks...
Have a look at the size tanks that you are interested in keeping... Will give you some nice ideas of how & where to start off with!

Welcome - I have found the secret to this hobby is patience, many of the tanks that you will see look that way because the owners have been running them for some time, they have learnt from what they have done and people like us get to glean from their experience. Enjoy the hobby it is exciting adding your first fish to your tank and exciting to see things take shape and life start to happen in a tank
