Okay, seeing I have been grounded by the higher authorities I decide to start with a new build if 2 tank. Smaller tank first and then the monster tank.

First tank is 1200x550x550 using 10mm float glass which gives a safety factor of 3.4 rimless. I have gone the direct silicone injection method on this build. This with be for mainly coral frags, lighting will be 3 x Radion Gen 2, Reef Octopus 700L rated skimmer, OW25 wave maker and a 3500L/H or 5000L/H return pump. Stand will be 38mm x 2mm square tubing using Connect-IT modular system. I must still get the glass for sump and few more odds and ends.

Second tank details to follow once this is completed. View attachment 216165

where in the house will this tank go?

I visited Royden last week. He seriously suffers from MTS (Multi Tank Syndrome) :m15:

Okay so tank coming on slowly but surely as still suffering from IOD at end of March. Hoping to have all wrapped up by the end of the weekend. Just got the wood cladding to do around stand which is still laying in my car and then all the electrical to be placed neatly in trunking. I have also been converting my Nuvo10 to a nano marine with a BM QQ1 skimmer and 2 x 1201L with an A200 controller and a Jebao SWL 10 Wave Maker.

Some updated photos:

As for the Nuvo 10, been running like a dream, zoas started getting new heads and nennies add and doing excellent. I changed the light from 2 x 1201L to my Popbloom unit which I did some changes too, removed a lot of the white leds and replaced with royal blue and uv.

is there enough ventilation for the Radion power supplies?
Also I would lift them up on small stand or even piece of wood. One day you will flood. Been there done that myself.
