    Hi Guys
Ive got a little TL450 with about 7 Kgs of live rock , some snails(came with the live rock ) one blue and yellow damsel and 4 mollies that i used orignally to get the tank up and running.

Ive quickly grown out of it, as its a little to small(cant keep anything in it). Thus i strated a new set up .

    Tank
    Length : 610mm
    Width: 500mm
    hight 600mm

    Sump
    Length : 500mm
    Width : 350mm
    Hight: 400mm

I dont have the space to go bigger

I am still decieding on what to keep, reef with soft corals or maybe just fish (preditor tank).....

    Regards

    Hello and Welcome

and keep on reading, best thing you can do before you buy a tank.

Know what you want, then go out and get it.

    Reeftek TS1
    Aquamedic Blue 1000
    Reef Octopus BH100 hangon

A TS2 would be a good size skimmer for a tank that size, I recon. They not too expensive and run very well.

Nice size tank. I think it will definitely be easier to manage than a TL-450.

What I do find amazing in this hobby, is how so many people start with a small tank and then go bigger. But okes with big tanks try to experiment with little ones... LOL!

    Welcome dude. :)

I would go with the TS1, they are brilliant skimmers...TS2 is nice yes, but not necessary for that size system. TS1 if you can find one going second hand would probably set you back around R600.
