AquaticLife is launching a new 3W Expert Series LED light fixture on September 10 that features four channels of color control, remote control and ability to customize your own unique lighting cycle. The light is the most advanced LED fixture in the company’s catalog and is built featuring all Cree LEDs in the fixture.*

The first version of the AquaticLife Expert Series LED will be a 14 in. fixture with 78W of output featuring a blend of white, blue, royal blue and red CREE diodes. As far as optics, the fixture comes with interchangeable 80 and 100 degree optics that can be easily swapped to fit your desired light spread. The company plans on adding a 34 and 46 in. version in the future.

Each Expert Series LED fixture comes with a remote control to allow you to take advantage of three different 24-hour light programs that can be customized, along with selecting up to 18 different preset color combinations. Getting bored just looking at the tank, want to impress friends or just do something different? The remote also allows you to activate cloud cover and*thunderstorm*modes.

For those of you who want more from your light cycle, with the AquaticLife software you can create custom “traces” or lighting cycles, modify the lunar cycle or even the intensity or duration of the thunderstorm. To upload the custom program from your computer, you just need to connect your fixture via a USB cable or take advantage of a AquaticLife Wireless USB Adapter Set.

The fixture takes advantage of passive cooling with a good heatsink to*dissipate*heat, and cut down on extra noise and issues with a fan. *The 14 inch Expert Series LED will have a MAP of $729.99 that includes the remote, suspension hardware and software.
