    Hi all

I have started with a 130L buyo tank. Its an awesome hobby that I'm glad I have started with my GF. We already have 2 clowns and 2 cleaner shrimp with about 10kgs of LR. Its a bit expensive hobby but worth it. In need of some "free" frags and LR!!!!

Next purchase will be a Fire shrimp and a peppermint shrimp and also a Blenny, just waiting for that elusive payday!!

Hi Donovan, and welcome to MASA.

Can you tell us more about your setup? How long is it running?

    Pics are always welcome!

    Enjoy the hobby!

    Thanks for the welcome guys.

Been running my tank for about a month now. All is great. Salinity is at 1.024 and KH is at 12 and Nitrate is basically non-existent, and PH is at 8.2. Pics will come later as I am using the works internet at the moment.

Bit negative, bought one of those Aquatic magnet cleaners and scratched the tank a bit because its acrylic and not glass.

@Gesiggie ive got a 130L Boyu tank, with a skimmer and a powerhead. My aragonate is Hawain Black and Ive got a mixture of Blue Fiji and I forgot what the others where. Getting great help from a few fellow MASA members that I met through my buddy Ruben. Watsup 459B!!!! Yeah decided to start posting some news and meeting the peeps. Ive got one green button polyp and an awesome feather polyp coming out of the blue fiji.

Bad news my awesome red hermit died yesterday for some reason, thinks its because he got stuck in the rocks and had to leave his shell and died. but the clowns and shrimp are having an awesome time, very social and covering all areas of the tank.

Sorry about the hermit. glad to have another nano tank. Why notcstart a thread in the tl450 and 550 section? Then we can follow your tank thread and see how things progress.

Thanks man, he was my first livestock purchase and he died. I am still learning the MASA website so will be joining the nano section as soon as I understand the website.

HI @Donovan1, welcome, good luck and enjoy it.

Are you sure your hermit did not molt?

The discarded skin looks very "lifelike" and many of us has thought we have lost a crab in the past only to rediscover it a few days later, bigger and better.

@Len I do not know what molt is, please explain? He looked very dead, wasn't moving an inch, even when we took him out and he was there for a long time on the same spot.

@belindamotion thanks for the piece, now I understand. I'm still very new at this whole thing and have much to learn. Luckily I know a few guys on the Forum that have a load of experience to help me out and they are always willing.

I have only been learning and running my tank for about a month and a half now.

Pic will be uploaded at the latest next weekend. Will add a proper description of the beginning of the tank and all its equipment and all that soon with the phots
