A very WARM WELCOME to MASA, Virnon (on a cold winters day! ;))! Great to have you on-board!

Please have a read through the URL link in my signature, about "Starting a marine tank".

The biggest thing in marines, is patience. As everything definitely has it's time and place.
Meaning that certain things has to happen before other things, and there are certain routines that you just HAVE to adhere to, to become a successful marine aquarist/reefkeeper.

Please start off by reading as much as you can, and learning as much as you can, FIRST. Before you spend a cent on ANYTHING.

Ask as many questions as you can, that you are as knowledgeable as you can be, before starting your marine aquarium.

Also - there is a KZN Reef Club meeting happening soon - join in there as well, and meet some fellow aquarists and reefkeepers.

Good luck on your journey into keeping a marine tank! You will enjoy it! It's a great hobby to be in!
