    Very nice. Is the whole tank acrylic? Isn't it more expensive than glass?

    Looking good so far. What do you use to glue the acrylic?

    Use a chemical. That fuses the pieces together.

    Looking real neat. Will keep an eye on this build as I am planning on a new tank with the same dimensions.

    Cheers

    Amazing, we so few builds like this in South Africa! I wonder why?

    Overseas it is the norm almost, they can even buff the scratches out of old tanks if needs be and make it look new!

    Why is that we don't use acrylic here like the rest of the world?

    I asked for a rough quote on 10 mm for both locally.

    Glass = R590 per sq.
    Acrylic = R2100 per sq.

    Basically three and a half times the price of glass!!
