hi guys. Just wanted to put my new tank up. Its been running about 7 weeks. Parameters are looking good. Amonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 5ppm, phosphates 10, calcium and magnesium are nearly at propper levels and theres a big diatom bloom. Well at least i hope its diatom bloom. Hope it will dissapear soon. Thank you. The nano is my little jewel. I do hope the bloom goes soon. But at least there is life in the tank which I am happy about. My hermit is chomping the diatom. I wonder if thats normal.

I am not 100% sure. Could be algae of some sorts. But i think its the result of to high phos.

Where did you get the sand from? Was it from an existing tank?
