The Neptune Systems DOS dual dosing pump has been on the market for a little over a year and in that time it has changed the paradigm of what a dosing system can be. Beefy stepper motorsmotors, thick peristaltic tubing, solid hose connections and of course, the remote-controllability through Apex Fusion is a huge bonus.
The last two years have seen a flurry of very good, new controllable dosing pumps released to the aquarium market. But to date the Neptune Systems DOS is the only one that can interface with their own Apex aquarium controller. Demanding reefers have embraced the Neptune DOS for critical dosing applications, and now this proven device is become a tad more affordable.
Launch price for the Neptune Systems DOS was $349 and has remained that way until now. As of today, the DOS will enjoy a 14% price drop to $299, saving you a meager $50 per unit but that number adds up if you plan to use more than one DOS dosing pump. Now you can apply that savings to some of the other neat dosing accessories specially built for the DOS including the pricey but cool Dual Dosing Reservoir.
