Need an ID of a snail

    Pic not clear but i'd guess Thais snail. Thais clavigera from muricidae family. Predatory. Make holes in snails n clams n eat them.

    Had a couple of these devour a clam over night before I learnt what they were. I'd give it a pass or banish to the sump

    See them often in lfs and no wonder there are always empty shells of dead snails. Wonder how much it costs stores in dead livestock

    They are in the sump at the moment . With my luck they will be the only thing to breed in my tank.
    I wonder if they are canibals ?
