So I have the most awesome lights LED from @Submariner the Lumina, my side of the tank gets some SERIOUS sun light for two hours a day. Just some pics when the clam is sucking up the sun light.

    Enjoy:

@Submariner - yeah the corals sulked from the light change for a while. I am to scared to turn the whites up I don't want to get some bleaching going ;)

Do you also have a Chiller/EVO...? Asking as we have a Lounge/Dinning room...the whole one side is windows...was thinking of having a Tank be the "Room Divider"...but with sunlight on it for basically a good couple of hours...the Temp increase made me not even consider it...I can't afford a Chiller running for a few hours everyday...loved the Evaporation Unit but on very very humid days, I'll lose out...so panicky about the Temp increase with direct sunlight with no chiller/EVO..

Nope I have LED lights :) the Vertex Lumina from @Submariner. The temp stays constant at 25 MAXXXX it goes to is 26 but thats rare..........

Thats a reading from a alcohol temp gauge, digital one from dynamax and my profilux all of them are like .2 reading from each other so I think its accurate.

It's amazing what colors the sunlight brings out of that clam. Tank is looking very good!

So direct sunlight on a Tank for a few hours doesn't increase the water Temp..? Even with the sun "baking" on it...?
