@Krushto, as you have just started a TL550, I would really advise against adding a sand sifter in your system? It needs an established sand bed, to forage for its food, and a new system simply does not have that.
Also, a TL550 is way too small to sustain it for long, and being under sand most of the time, you will not realise it is starving a slow death. (Which it will do). Please reconsidder adding it.

Yeah I guess your right... But in need of the snails though. Went to VIP but alas, no stock... Contacted all my nearby stores, but seems they too don't have Nassarius in stock...

These snails often come in, but are eagerly grabbed up... All the best withe the snail-hunting, and good on you for removing the sandsifter from your list of tank-inmates:thumbup:

Lol yeah I have contacted all my nearby pet stores and asked each one to drop me an email should they get them in anytime soon... Lol
Would think that they would be kept in stock if there is such a high demand for them :p

The problem is with them staying mostly hidden in the sand bed and only coming out when they smell food.. Not always easy to locate them for collection. I recon it gets easier for the trained eye, but even if I watched it bury itself, more often than not, if I look away and look back again, I can not see where it is supposed to be....
