Nanocube DX

A few simple Qs about a nancube DX. Iv got one in my room, GF doesnt want it at her place and she cant keep it at work...so im babysitting it for her.

Does it have a heater built in...or does it rely on the lighting to warm the water?
Is there a protein skimmer available for it?
How full must I keep the water level?
Why the fark does the overflow skimmer keep coming off....it doesnt look like it clips in or sumthing?

What size nano is it ? ( 12g or 24g).
As far as I know neither of these versions have a heater built in.
Water level is dependant on the position of the overflow "gates" at the back of the tank.

The DX is the small one...so its 12g I think
